Personal Review

The restaurant boasts a spacious area, thoughtfully decorated to resemble a miniature countryside village nestled in the heart of the coastal city. Every little corner here carries the marks of time — from traditional wooden houses and wood-fired stoves to exhibition spaces that feel like a “memory museum.”

This nostalgic atmosphere pulls me — and likely many others from the 70s and 80s generations — back into our childhood memories. Each table, chair, ceramic bowl, and street vendor stall evokes a sense of simple, beloved days gone by.

The food served here features iconic Vietnamese dishes as well as specialties from Nha Trang and Phan Rang, such as bánh xèo, bánh căn, bánh tằm, bánh gai, bánh bèo chén, and southern or central-style bánh bột lọc. The menu is diverse and rich, offering a wide variety of seafood and countryside-style dishes like ốc bưu, ốc đinh, oysters, clams, crabs, all prepared with excellent flavor and beautifully presented.

Poultry and pork dishes are also available, including grilled chicken and grilled pork, as well as porridge and soups for children. Some dishes are sold directly from recreated street vendor stalls, recreating the ambiance of the old days — like hột vịt lộn (balut), Nha Trang fish noodle soup, and beef phở.

There’s also a dessert cart offering many traditional Vietnamese sweet treats such as chè bà ba, chè chuối, chè đậu đen, and silken tofu with ginger syrup (tàu hũ nước đường).

In addition to dining, guests can participate in a variety of activities such as painting, pottery-making, live music and dance performances, magic shows, photo opportunities with a yellow python (used as a magician’s prop), and nightly lô tô games.

Behind the restaurant is a space that showcases various traditional craft villages — a fantastic check-in spot. There are countless corners for guests to take photos, explore, and immerse themselves in the experience.

If I ever return to Nha Trang, this place will definitely be on my list to visit again.
