Hải Sản Thanh Sương

My go-to choice when visiting Nha Trang. This is one of the most well-known local seafood spots, truly living up to the “delicious – affordable – popular” reputation.

I visited on a weekday evening and it was still very crowded, but the service was quick — dishes arrived about 15 minutes after ordering.

The menu is diverse, the seafood is fresh, and the prices are very reasonable — much cheaper than many places in the city center. The flavors suit Southern Vietnamese tastes, well-seasoned but not overly strong or sweet. I was especially impressed with the gỏi cá mai (raw fish salad) and the seafood rice.

The restaurant has an open upper floor, but my favorite spot is the spacious outdoor area at the back — right by the sea, breezy, with a lovely night view of the sparkling Vinpearl.

However, since the place is popular and many groups dine separately, it can get quite noisy. It’s not ideal if you’re looking for a quiet atmosphere.

One downside is that the car parking area is about 200 meters away. There’s no on-site parking. The staff will guide you by motorbike and take you back to the restaurant if needed, but it’s still a bit inconvenient — especially if it’s raining or if you’re with elderly people.

Still, considering the quality, price, and seaside view, Thanh Sương 1 is a great option if you’re looking for an authentic local seafood experience in Nha Trang.
